Village Frontier

Village Frontier is one of my works done in 2007. I’ve never done a painting outside of my room. This is once again what I had in my mind. For me, this painting resembles a village somewhere in Europe. Probably France or Italy (Maybe…). I decided to call this one, Village Frontier, because it’s obviously showing the edge of the village. Unfortunately, there is something missing in this work. I forgot to draw a man walking on the street.. which I thought would be a great idea to make him as the center of attention.

hey, thanks for visiting. :) i came over searching for scenic sundays... you have some great photos. i loved the one of the playground.. it looked like a painting.

this painting is really nice. did you use acryllic? i like that there's no people, it makes the Lamp Post the focal point. It could be very symbollic. You chose really neat colors, it reminds me of El Greco's colors.

HI Fadil,
I see you're studying to be an Engineer - good luck! My son has a degree in engineering (architectural). I actually like your painting without a person in it. It allows the viewer to "fill in" and interpret, which is nice. Keep painting ...and studying!

Nice muted tones, very mellow night scene. So simple still so nice. Happy MYM!

This is totally beautiful.
I would say most likely it looks like France :)
And a black cat walking or sitting at the end of the street would be what I would expect :)
